Mash-up from the past.

These pictures were taken many months ago but were sort of forgotten. But now, they’re seeing the light of day!

# 9 August 2009. Was at the pet grooming shop when a fella brought in this shih tzu with massive, dirty hair and long dirty nails. According to the owner, the dog hadn’t taken a bath for 2 weeks. The dog’s fur was matted all the way to his skin it’s impossible to comb them out. So there’s no other way of making him handsome again other than to get a full shave. 2 weeks? Looks more like a year of neglect.

# 19 October 2009. At the bf’s office. Me. His coffee cup, a gift from me. Hmmm, don’t ask.

# 24 October 2009. This is a picture of 13 boxes of takoyaki balls, which translates into 39 pieces of balls shared among CL, KY, ST, Haze and myself. We were in Singapore for Nuffnang Blog Awards and while checking out the city, won some Takashimaya vouchers that we used to redeem 13 boxes of takoyaki balls. Tragically, by the final 2 balls, our stomachs gave up.

# 12 January 2010. Like mother, like son.

For the love of stinky, gooey yellow substance with some pepper and soy sauce.

BF drove like a mad man to Cameron Highlands that we reached there 1.5 hours before everybody else. So we slept in the car right opposite Starbucks in Tanah Rata till one of his friends knocked on the car window. Now the whole world knows what my face looks like when I sleep. I think my mouth always opened one, actually I don’t want to know. Seeing all of them have cameras, I hope none of them took any picture of me with my mouth opened and saliva flowing down my chin on the side -_-

Waking up at such ungodly hours in the morning made me cranky mad woman, but if I were fed properly, started bad can also end well.

And the best thing to feed me is none other than soft-boiled eggs. Who love soft boiled eggs? I do! If I could eat them for breakfast everyday I would.

Toast and soft-boiled eggs.

I love it with my toast, over my rice, noodles & steak.

But above all I love it most on its own <3

And because it makes me so strong I can carry this ginormous lens that weighs about 20kilos (for like 10seconds) and cost the price of a small car.

This is not a filler because I love soft-boiled eggs that much it deserves a dedicated post :P

Blogging in bed.

Just woke up from a long slumber. The boyfriend is still snoring, albeit very gently next to me. We are in Cameron Highlands for the 3rd anniversary of the photography forum that he founded.

When he 1st started, he asked me to help him design a logo for the forum. We didn’t have any budget for a real designer then so I thought I’d help out the man. It is now the 2nd largest photography forum in Malaysia and perhaps Asia too (I’m not too sure) with 20,000+ members.

Now, everytime I see the forum’s sticker at the back of someone’s car I’m both pleased and somewhat embarrassed at the same time, hehe.

I’m extremely proud of my babyboo. Am also very happy that he’s got so many members and personal friends on his forum who tirelessly contribute time, money and ideas to bring Shutter Asia to where it is now. As the he said to me before, “I only provided a platform. It’s the members that make it successful”.

I agree whole-heartedly, but I also think it’s because he’s a forum owner who doesn’t stifle creativity or freedom of expression. Most of all, he did not start it for money and eventhough he could profit easily from it now he’s not the least interested in doing so.

The chinese in me is dying to pull his ears off for not cashing in but I have to admit, he’s really doing a right thing. We need more knowledge sharing channels without commercialisation constantly threatening their integrity.

Well, my fingers are already aching from typing on this little device while lying flat in bed. He’s still fast asleep and my belly is starting to rumble for food. I’m going to be a brat in a minute, cutting short his sleep to make him take me out for breakfast. He’s unlikely to read this post till we’re home much later today so I want to say when you’re reading this: I love you and I’m proud that you’re my man.
