Broke but happy.

Today we’ve paid our fourth payment for the house renovation and we are now officially broke. From today onwards we will be reduced to eating dusts and drinking stolen tap water from the neighbours.

Hehehe.

Okay, it’s not THAT bad, but bad enough for us to keep track on every single expenditure. Among the things I’ve been doing are these:

-Separating each facial cotton pad into two

-Buying generic branded handwash instead of Dettol

-Saving leftover meals for days after

-Giving Charlie DIY haircuts/baths instead of sending him to the groomer

-Drive one car instead of two cars to save on fuel

-Eating dinner at food courts instead of at restaurants

-Watching movies at home instead of at the cinemas (unless free, hehe)

-Saving shopping coupons and vouchers

-Entertain ourselves with Nintendo Wii

-Recycling clothes and finding different ways of wearing each item

-Showering 3 times a week (I kid, I kid)

Feel free to dispense any tip for saving money if you have any hehe. Before I go, I just want to say this…

To my bestest friends the #porkgang (KY, Haze, Horng, Ruby, God, Kerol, FA, Suanie, Ringo) thanks for accommodating us. First with going to pet-friendly places ALL the time when Charlie appeared in our lives and now with our anti-socialising, stemmed from budget constraints. And it’s very touching to me that you guys love us enough to foot our bills sometimes just so we could hang out too. I love you all so much you have no idea.

And to mom & dad who just moments ago brought us homecooked dinner all the way from Cheras. I know you did it because you know we’d be pressured to pay for dinner if we ate out and you don’t want to put us in a tight spot.

Yummy homecooked dinner.

Thanks mummy, daddy. /sniffs

So yeah, we are broke but we’re happy :)

Friday retail therapy.

Been ages since I had a girly day out, shopping and gossipping. Went to a shopping bazaar by Youth10 at PWTC first, then Bangsar and lastly Tropicana City Mall.

# – With FA.

# – Haze and her massive fried noodles.

Actually I’m stuck in a massive jam on LDP now, rushing home to prep up for Fashionista party at Maison.

Am gonna wear something I got from a boutique called Moosh in Bangsar. I love it, the colour, the design and the fact I could devour an entire buffet spread and still can rock it, tee hee.

# – My something from Moosh.

Can’t wait to wear it! Wheeeeee

Posted from my Crackberry.

I’m still a n00b.

Okay, I failed! I gave up my detox yesterday evening and had dinner. I ate a big bowl of “lui char” (hakka vegan dish) and nicked KY‘s seafood curry during dinner. I am a failure T_T

You’d think that after being alive for over 25 years I’d have developed better willpower. Nope, instead I starved for 48 hours and ruined it all in 2 minutes. Sigh….

Anyway, my loot from Strawberrynet has arrived. Less than 7 days it took, I was very impressed because I was told buying perfume online takes longer to arrive due to special custom requirement etc. Among the stuff I got was this MAC blusher. But I think I chose the wrong colour already…it looks more brownish then red. I’m sure I’d find a way to use it though.

Actually I really want to blog about something that’s been bugging my mind so bad. But I’m going to refrain because it might become a full-blown rant. I’m just really disappointed with how things have turned out.

Just goes to show that even after living for more than 25 years, you can still fail at detoxing, you can still misjudge cosmetic pictures online and they, are the least of your concerns when it comes to misjudgment.

What I do know though, that this will become just another tiny irrelevant blemish in my life. I don’t know how this will pan out but we shall see.
