Smirnoff Apple, CROCS Sassari, Phuket

Gah…I can’t seem to blog consistently. MUST. NOT. SLACK.

Here goes.

Last week, was Smirnoff Two Great Vodka Flavours: One Launch Party as Sanctuary, The Curve. I had so much fun. Everyone was so happy with Smirnoff vodka swirling in their happy bellies. Whee! Smirnoff Green Apple was deeeeee…licious!

Kimberlycun hearts Smirnoff Green Apple. OMG I’ve got a cleavage!

Last week, I also received a birthday gift from the good folks at CROCS Asia. Thing was, I’ve always had reservations towards CROCS. I was quite worried about how the gift might look like…

This is a screenshot of my facebook group. It’s true, I had reservations.

A parcel for me.

Hrmm.. Errr…

Awww…

This really isn’t bad at all!

Thank goodness, they’ve decided to come out with some decent looking footwear. This latest range of CROCS for women called Sassari, is funky and fun looking. And I’m happy to say that I would have no qualms wearing them out in public.

And yeah, they are very comfortable.

Currently, CROCS Asia is organising a CROCS Test Drive from August 1 till 19, 2007 that will allow customers to try out three of its latest models for 48 hours without obligation.

During this promotional period, if you haven’t experienced the comfort of CROCS, you can do so for free, three new models for 48 hours! The models are the Sassari wedge for women, Sobek sandals for men or Kids Scutes sandals for children.

So head out to the CROCS Concept Stores at Ikano Power Centre, Mutiara Damansara, and Queensbay Mall, Penang and do the following:

1. Register for the ‘test drive’ by swiping your credit cards or placing a cash deposit equivalent to the price of the shoes, and enjoy the comfort, style and fun of CROCS.

2. If the shoes are not returned after 48 hours, they are deemed sold. If you’re unhappy with your CROCS for ANY reason, you can simply return the shoes within the period and complete a feedback form to cancel the transaction at zero charge.

This weekend, I’m going to the Land of Smiles! Whee!

Mission: To eat deep fried creepy crawlies. And watch a lot of Asia’s wonders.

Laundry Bar Launch.

Remember when I mistook a bar for a laundry? The good folks from the bar decided to invite me to their launching to convince me that it is indeed a bar. And so I went…

Arrived at The Curve a tad early hoping to catch some dinner before hopping over to Laundry Bar but as I passed by the place, it was already bustling with people. Damn happening.

The bar area.

So I gave dinner a pass, signed the guestbook, entered the place and hope to spot a familiar face. I love the decor! Unpainted walls with elegant murals, lovely lightings and plenty of seats.

Laundry Bar.

The music was good…ranging from funkified oldies to reaggae to dnB to garage to R&B. Me loving the Laundry Bar already. The fact that it’s next to my gym certainly adds to it.

Bartenders.

First people I spotted were Shaolin Tiger, TV Smith, Zona, Nazrul and MuteAudio.

Zona, TV and Nazrul.

Le Tiger and Kimberlycun.

Me and Zona.

Me and Nazrul.

We were all seated at the bar corner, where they kept shoving us very delicious food from Italiannies. I think I counted about 7 kinds of dishes. The drinks were of course, free flow :D

What’s wrong TV?

Mine.

Also mine.

All also mine

Cheers!

Later on, Sharizal dropped by. And Farah. Also saw Jia-Wei (who played Ruth in The Homecoming).

Kimberlycun, Jia-Wei and Farah

Of course, I wouldn’t miss any opportunity to camho now, would I?

Shiny, shiny disco balls.

Aspiring poster girl

Dancing queen, eat your heart out.

Think I just posted damn a lot of pictures. Phew!

Fun place. Will definitely drop by more often. Thanks to the good people from Laundry Bar for the invitation ;)
