Had an impromtu date with husband last night. We had dinner at Brotzeit in Mid Valley.

Brotzeit in Mid Valley is one of our favourite restaurants. Great service, consistently great food and lots of porky goodness. Hubs love their range of beers, of course.

If they had more seatings with back support, it would be perfect me!

Anyway, I always order this salad whenever am there. The seafood salad, probably the best salad ever.

The prawns are super fresh and bouncy, the tuna only lighyly seared and generous amount of smoked salmon.

The greens are really fresh and crisp too…and in so many variety that I find it difficult to identify. You’d find olives and grapefruit slices too.

We ordered a goulash too which I had forgotten to take picture. It was delicious we thought it’d be perfect during cold, rainy evenings.

Of course you must order pork dishes when you are there. We had the full rack of ribs with two generous bowls of creamy mash and sauerkraut.

Meat fell off the bones effortlessly, it was finger lickin’ good!

We used to be able to finish up the ribs as well as several other dishes. But last night, we stopped ourselves and took the leftover home for lunch the day after.

How sensible.

I love singing! One of my resolutions since 2012 was to go to a vocal class but that still hasn’t happened.

That’s because I have terrible stage fright, in fact I suspect why I haven’t gotten around to attending a vocal class is because am even terrified to sing in a class :(

Anyway, I recorded myself singing a Duffy number back in February for fun. I sometimes record my own singing whenever am alone or with Gareth.

Gareth is possibly the only person in the world that I am comfortable singing for.

So here’s the song I sang – Warwick Avenue. One of my favourite songs by one of my favourite singers ever, Duffy. Her voice is amazing! If I can get any voice I want, I’d want Duffy’s singing voice.

Sorry there’s no accompanying music. I recorded it by singing along the song while listening to it via earphones.

Here’s the original video. Be warned, the music video is sad as hell! I cry almost everytime I watch it.
